DDoS attack – Resolved

There’s currently a DDoS attack on our TeamSpeak server. As this is a large targeted attack there’s nothing we can do until the attack has subsided. Once the attack is over all connectivity will be restored. All services are currently restored as of Dec 31 @ 6:24 Eastern Time

Before the attack there was a user called “Lapin” advertising a TeamSpeak server saying this server will be “Shut Down” – This is false, We still have plans to keep this server up for more years to come. This user has also been DDoSing other TeamSpeak servers as well.

*Update – 12:06 – The host is looking into a resolution for this issue.

*Update – 5:40 – Attack is still going on, I’ve voided all dns routes to host in an attempt to get the server back online

* Update – 6:08 – Null route was removed, regained access to server, rebinding routes

* Update – 6:24 – This is resolved. If you’re unable to connect please fully close out of TeamSpeak, re-open and reconnect

* Update – 8:50 – Our firewall although set up was not active on the server. We’re not sure why it was disabled, but it has since been re-enabled as this helps mitigate DoS attacks.
