TeamSpeak 3 Packet loss issues – Resolved
Some people have notified me that there’s high packet loss occurring and that connection quality is bad.
As I suspected a DoS I have enabled advanced DoS / DDoS protection and have turned on connection limiting. After doing some research network traffic is normal and there’s no DoS/DDoS alerts. I have notified the host about the issue and they are investigating the problem. Once I figure out what the issue is I will update this post. In the meantime connection limiting will remain active, and shouldn’t affect any legitimate connections.
Current Status: Resolved by Host
Update -March 29 7:59 PM : There was a DoS attack targeting another server at our data center. The attack was mitigated and packet loss has dropped back down below 1%.
