We are making changes to our DNS / Nameserver setup. We will be getting rid of our Secondary and Tertiary DNS servers and switching over to a hosted DNS Slave setup. As of right now the only domain that will be affected will be myextraneous.com – Once we verify everything is OK we will be switching over the rest of the accounts.

What does this mean?
We will have 4 slave DNS servers and multiple geo-DNS servers – Any DNS request will be routed to the DNS server that’s closest to your location – This will speed up IP resolution times, as well as help prevent DNS related outages. During this transition period MyExtraneous may experience some outages while we finish getting the servers set up and talking to each other.
